Event/Artist: Nerve Scales + Leon String Quartet
Venue: Mrs Jones' Kitchen, Canterbury
Artist Tim Long, vocalist/programmer Masato Kakinoki (abirdwhale) and others will assemble a series of sounds and images employing the voice, hand-made instruments, voice activated video, microcontrollers and motion sensors. Nerve Scales evokes the chaotic, emotional and nervous interiorities of noise, and borrows qualities from Antonin Artaud’s short texts of the same title.
Come along to witness the boundary between experimental/violent audiovisuals and beautiful moments. It's free.
